The USS Hyperion is a Sovereign class starship currently on patrol in the M'Kieru Sector in the galactic west of the Beta Quadrant, directly between Klingon and Romulan Star Empires.

History

Following the star designated Hobus undergoing a supernova, destroying both Romulus and Remus, the crew of the USS Hyperion (NCC-7438-F) are one of the few remaining Federation Starships still working on securing refugees of the Romulans Star Empire.

In light of recent uprisings of certain Klingon Houses trying to take flailing worlds by force for Glory and Honour, the USS Hyperion (NCC-7438-F) has been ordered to patrol the region of space between both empires, providing humanitarian aid to refugees and strengthening Federation Strongholds against the changing face of the galaxy.

Current Operations

The USS Hyperion (NCC-7438-F), Sovereign Class was destroyed when re-entering into our universe following a phased transport. Slave traders stole the Hyperion in order to extend their power throughout the galaxy, but were thwarted not by the crew, but by the COs Mother, who had been captured by the traders some months before. The ship was returned with the crew only to be abandoned when Starbase 123 exploded and sent a ripple of energy through the ship.

The crew await the new arrival of the USS Hyperion (NX-7438).
