Cargo Transporter

Cargo Transporters are semi-portable pads roughly 5 meters square with a connected control console or panel. They are different from Personal Transporter rooms there is no lower level to contain the equipment, as such they are not typically used on a quantam level to transport organic material.

Cargo Transporters above Type 5 may be reset to quantam level to allow organic (living) tissue. Time to reset the transporter varies, but cannot be less than 30 minutes per 5 meter pad. The reset usually entails linking the pad to the Personal Transporter grid via ODN lines and setting up a portable targeting scanner, enhanced Biofilter, and enhanced Pattern Buffer.
