Service Record
Brett Gann joined Tango Fleet in 2001. After graduating from Tango Fleet Academy, he was assigned to the USS Octavian (NCC-28615-A), where he played the Vulcan/Betazoid Astrometrics Technician Rubik. He continued to play Rubik as the Assistant Chief Science Officer when the game changed to the USS Dragonstar (NCC-81625). Before leaving Tango Fleet in 2003, he had risen to the rank of Lieutenant Commander and played in the USS Hyperion (NCC-7438-D), Starbase 98: Intelligence Team IV, Starbase Tango, USS Pegasus (NCC-53847-D), and Deridous IV simulations; he had also been an Academy instructor and had completed Command School.
In 2009, Brett rejoined Sixth Fleet. He began playing the Betazoid Chief Science Officer Sterling Badr aboard the USS Bismarck (NCC-1108-C) and later the Human Chief Engineer Loren Ackerman aboard the USS Pegasus (NCC-53847-E). He continues to play on the Pegasus as its Commanding Officer and game manager.
In 2011, Commander-in-Chief Graham Thomson promoted Brett to the fleet rank of Captain. Graham's successor, Nathalie Chapman appointed Brett to serve as Sixth Fleet Chief of Fleet Communications. At the end of her term, Chapman promoted Brett to the fleet rank of Commodore.
On 15 March 2012, the Fleet Command Senate elected Brett Commander-in-Chief. Brett's term ended in February 2013.
In early 2013, the USS Pegasus underwent a class change to the Vesta II- or Aventine-class USS Pegasus (NCC-85714).
